Oh, on the wiki i read this, made me thing it wasn't being enforced. Personally I wouldn't call a GM over this, i would just leave it up to the person wearing the clothes to do what they think it right.

RULES FOR USING YOUR SPECIAL COLORS
Only guildmembers can use these special colors.
You cannot let others use them, you cannot sell items/pets dyed in special color. If a guildmember leaves a guild, he must dye all of the specially dyed items/pets to their original color (either hue#0, or the hue of the metal/leather/wood).
If a guild is disbanded, all of the guildmembers must dis-dye their items/pets to their original color.
No penalties for breaking these rules for now, but if there's alot of violations we may start by penalizing with gold/tokens/stats or deleting items.

Most people don't want to take a guild hue, but after unknowingly taking it, getting used to it and dying 10+ items that colour,
Isn't that what the hue room is for to make sure a hue is open to take?
Yes, but many ppl prefer to just flip threw the uni tub tool.

Ok, I have an other example that I feel comfortable to come with because I actually bought thoses dytubs. The LMC guild, that I founded two years ago, has the same exact hue that the Noble Steeds have. Technically, all non-dyed nobles that have appeared in the game since 2 years are illegal.

It is possible to reserve for your guild the nice golden color that comes with the Mage inquisitors gloves, boots and hat (2079). Does that mean that thoses peices will be illegal if not dyed once the color is reserved?

I think that guild colors should be usefull to let players recognize their guildmates at first sight, but I dont think that letting one guild the exclusivity of a color is a good thing. If i dye, for example, a few of my chests paragon gold, I fail to see how I am causing trouble to a guild that would have paragon gold as a color.

LMC Blue is a shade off the natural color of nobles. As +Hina said, there are too many hues for them to actively police by checking every item a player has and "If" we page about another person using a guild color then it will be resolved. "If" I don't have issue with it, and paid for the hue, then why should anyone else have issue? Also if a guild does pick a naturally occurring color, like the Gloves of the Seer gold, then I would think that guild is just out of luck stopping others from using it. Same would be said for all ingot colors, leather colors, etc. I think for naturally occurring colors in the game, staff would need to make those colors off limits for guilds to pick.

I have been asked what LMC guild hue is and I said it was alright if they used it. LMC hue is the color of nobles because that was what was awesome back in the day. They are just buying the armor out of the hue room when they buy a hue. :?
