skill ball +60 question

like topic is named i am planning to use this ball for taming but when i hit lvl 60 and i didn't buy a power scroll for taming
does it still bring my taming lvl to 120 or just 100??

Unfortunately you have to buy the power scroll or else the remaining 20 pts will be lost, the worse part is the prices for taming ps, pretty expensive if you just started playing.

hmmm money is indeed a problem cause i'm only for a week on this server

A good way of earning money is beekeeping, raise ennough cash to buy flowers, water pitchers, hive tools, beehives and potions kegs (unless you gm Alchemy) and a house of course, does'nt have to be big, just ennough to put your hives in. And after a few days your on your way... easy million dollars per week. So to start off you will need about 220k to buy everything!

If you have any questions about beekeeping check out the wiki it has a lot of info on the subject and or contact me ingame if you have anymore questions about beehives (im not an expert but i can help, someone did the same for me when i started so...)

Also forgot to mention, if your under 21 days of age there is the newb quest in the training room, gives you about 100 organics per run, and is repeatable every half hour or so, then you can self the orgs to other players for 200gp each.

Been here over a year and never was able to decide what to use it on so I still have mine lol

I used mine on animal taming but seing how easy it is to raise up to 120 i should have kept mine for some other skill like carto, keep looking for maps to raise past 100 and they are not easy to find and very expensive, or fishing. But what is done is done so it's something to think about!

To raise cartography, grab your self a Mapmakers Pen and some blank scrolls. Make a zillion world maps and toss the maps you make into the gray garbage can in your house. i.e. "I wish to place a trash barrel"

Voila! Carto gain and you don't need to read tmaps.

And in my experience you don't really need to go beyond 100. I have 99.5 base skill and can read Ingenious maps.

Should probably make another thread about Cartography so as not to further hijack this thread. And I'll offer whatever information I can.
