Young Player Weapons

Hello everyone!

I just joined this shard and am loving it! One thing that I have noticed is that some young players are running around with these nice green looking weapons that have decent stats for us young folk. I have no idea how to get them and was wondering if you had to start out with them or if there is a way to pick them up.

Unfortunately, it seems to depend on class. I got one, along with a newbie helm, from the newbie bins and returned them when the time was up. There was a discussion on chat a while ago with people saying to trash them when the time was up (because everyone gets them at start) and two of us saying to put them in the newbie bins (since we knew that not everyone does). So your choices are to check the newbie bins and hope someone donated them or to make another character with a different class and hope that class gets a young player weapon.

Sorry for the late reply, but if you did not obtain a newbie helm, katana, or bow then I believe you can page a GM for them. May take sometime depending on whether a staff member is online, but patience is a virtue. Enjoy and welcome to the shard.

I just dropped a new player helm and bow into the donation room, if you can beat other folks there you might get it
