Best equip - discussion

I am new here. Previously I played on the server where no such opportunities like this. No luck, no pets, no weapon leveling, no powerscrolls, no runic weapons and so on ...

I want to know what is best equipment here.
Somenone use bow, hammer, axe ...i need to know what is best for each group.
equip=weapons,armor,pets,imps, ...

Best equip for Archer
Best equip for close combat
Best equip for killing with pets
Best equip for killing all types of champs


just what is the best equipment in your opinion and what you use

Even tho its a tamer/bio shard doin the Melee/archer stuff for me is still the top notch fun. I bought an axe of the heavens for about 50k and have a lvl weapon deed on it for the close combat stuff as whirlwind just rocks. I love the weapon so much Ive used it nonstop and its currently lvl 91 and is just a whirlwind wrecking ball. I only have 20% mana regen on it and it constantly replenishes.Now for bows people can argue all kinds of ways but a very good starter bow that can grow with you with a lvl deed on it is the Dryad bow. Out of the box its fast and mean without a lvl deed on it. My dryad bow is currently lvl 31 and would be higher but im having to much fun with the axe. I am not saying these are the best weapons but they are easy to obtain/affordable and start off plenty mean for the baddies youll encounter.

You will get a different answer for this from each person.

Personally I think the best bow is the Hanzo's. It has great stats from the getgo and lends itself well to being levelled. And it can be had fairly cheaply.

As for a hand-to hand weapon that's a lot more subjective. A weapon with good life leech and/or an area effect is probably something to think about though.

i like the blaze of death because it starts off as having both 50% fire area damage and 50% fireball so great close combat with fireball and some of them run (surround that is) if you hit another the area effect damage comes into play. plus, it has whirlwind (it's a halberd) RAWR add some other effects to it like hit lighting, and energy area damage and you got one killer weapon.

I agree theres so much cool weapons to choose from that will not hurt your pocketbook but area effect can be highly deadly. Be very careful with this one if your a lone hunter in a nasty area as I have an alt that has 100% poison area and nothing says *Come and kill me now!!* more than a 100% area effect weapon. Also area effect can get the attention of good creatures you had no intention of killing and damage your karma if you care about that sort of thing.

I play here for 35 days, but i have earned about 20m. I want to spend it for my equip.
I want go to kill champs, but i am weak in my equip.

yeah like most new players i am sure he sold organics.

OT: Really depends on your preferred skills, current stats, stat caps, etc... hard to say
melee:
war hammer, double axe, halberd probably your best choices
archer:
yumi bows
armor: depends on what your stats are and such.
Headband of power for starting then spirit of the totem for headpiece
jackal's collar for gorget
goc piece for chest
footwear: goc in general, batwings for trying to get high dex
rest: preference, trying to get to 215+ dex? etc hard to say

probably the only really agreed upon choices

Please tell me how you made 20m in 35 days just starting out...behives don't give you that much that fast. Then again if you play all day for 35 days it is possible.

Secret of playing UO for 6 years on other shard. I have search uoex economy at first. Write prices of product on paper and start playing.
But selling gods by Vendors earn about 500-1m per day. Next 300K beehives, next 150k oints and some money from monsters
