Name says it all

What should we do with the current Healing and Dex relationship (over 200 dex)?

I have no problem with it, perhaps even try some new things as well. Same old loot seems to get old after a while, maybe add a bod or something odd for loot, at this point some fresh air might be nice.

Well I didn't really make a very good reply before granted :o) To be more exact, while I don't care much for a place that is no pets/no druids and such I think ALL kinds of places have their good points. The thing is nobody is FORCED to go in those type of areas so by all means give us various types of areas. No area has to appeal to EVERYONE. Many will see any limitations as a challenge more than a limitation :o)

So far, I have a long list of spells and a few skills I will have disabled in my dungeon (no...that does not include Healing). Pets and mounts will be blocked, the only way to be resurrected will be with bandages, and roughly half of the monsters will strike with either Mortal Strike or Paralyzing Blow. There will be no firebreath monsters that can one-breath kill, but there will be monsters that can one-strike kill. However the ease of killing these monsters will be similar to the ease they have at killing you (Talking 100-ish HP), and they will not be ranged attackers or use any schools of magic.

Thoughts? Opinions? Death threats?

I have been waiting ages (well over a year anyway) to hear of some kind of New areas that test our ability to kill with limited resources... V, lemme put it as simple as possible (and understanding lol)

There will always be SOMEONE out there to be above and beyond and beat anything, anywhere, anytime. That shouldnt stop you from creating this art. Not everyone is as powerful as the next person, there will always be one person stronger then the next. The way you explain this new dungeon(s), it sounds like an awesome challenge, exactly what i wanted to hear.

Now not to jump off topic, but the option for me to be an all-powerful genie, is there for me to take, Why dont i take it? If i never die, I would be back ontop of brit bank sitting there with my thumb up my ... Well i think you see my point, there are those that choose to be All-Power and end up quiting because everything is "too easy" ... Then theres those that stay at mid level, when a challenge is presented, and they die, its not flipping out in anger, its showing that person is still vulnerable to their surroundings, and not invincible...

There is my Thought :wink:

i havent seen this idea yet, although i favor no change at all.
edit: ^ i guess i cant read... thats the 3 poll option :lol:

gm healing+130 anatomy = max heal
(at 5 seconds 40hp/sec = 200hp -fingerslips taking total dmg healed to at most half? 25*per slip?)
anything after = speed increase at a = loss of max hp healed to balance(40hp/sec being able to heal faster = less fingerslips)
so waiting 5 seconds to heal will heal a higher possible total - with a diminishing return(fingerslip)
every 5 points of healing after 100 = 1 sec off timer, 120healing = 1 sec heal
dex can be a fingerslip factor? 25* - dex/25=-heal @fingerslip with a minimum of 1(though 1 cant be reached)?
120/130=40hp/sec 100/130=200hp/5secs
220dex = -3hp per slip 125dex=-18.75hp per slip
2 slips =162.5 6 slips= -112.5 ~= 100
**angel forms +healing effect
140healing- what to do here after 120healing?

i dont know how dex affects speed other then 210~215, but in the case dex is favored for speed

I don't see instant heal being a true problem. Its handy but there are enough 1 hit kill creatures its not like you cant die. And you STILL gotta kill stuff its not like the healing makes you rich or kills stuff in and of itself.
