Vet rewards

Heya all!

Just a little suggestion/thought to see if we can get some discussion going on this subject again. I have somewhere around 10-15ish vet rewards owing to me. Is there any chance to add some stuff after the one year mark? After all there is only so many chargers you can own.

Maybe add some house deco? Or trade vet rewards for tokens.... something along those lines...

Any thoughts, comments, ideas for rewards welcome

I agree with this 100%. I also have a build up of vet reward points and nothing to spend them on. Custom shard rewards would make another attractive feature for Excelsior. Also Possibly add large rewards based on a point system. Example 3 months worth of points for a large reward. Theirs quite a few items that are no very easy to get here such weapons displays, wall banners (other then BOD rewards) and various other random items we see in towns inaccessible to players. Not sure if that would fall under +Chaos's deco post. I'm sure some of the other vets have requests as well.

Would be nice... i got a lot of the rewards piling up too... Even being able to trade them in for ED or something would be nice.

Great ideas tho ... robes are useless, statues are useless, dye tubs are definitely useless (Lol new player center)

Ethereal mounts are *almost* useless.

TBH an ED reward would make sense, but Colibri would want it to be so infantesmally small that it wouldn't even be worth it (like 3-5 ED max)

then again, who wants to get currency for something thats meant to imply lasting meaning

Yes I would love to be able to trade all my vet reward points for say a rare artifact "coughtitanhammercough" or some other item of value at our level of play...we already have almost everything after becoming a vet, we just need some new stuff to choose from that really rewards us for being true vets of this shard. Maybe a unique piece of armor or special weapon? A world teleporter? A felucca teleporter? An extra pet slot? An extra house slot? A ridable demon etc...please

Not to shoot you down on this Electra, oh by the way... Halls? Glass of water? are you getting sick?... Although it would be nice to update our Vet reward list it will require scripting, and seeing as only Colibri is the only licensed Scriptor here on Excelsior his time is split about umpteen-million different ways and its hard to get his attention some times. so keep asking and i am sure he will fold in another couple years

i Like those house banners. or a flag you can run around with. The flag isn't powerful and won't infringe on any of the eds rewards or auctioned items.

awww man what you really need is something like the one TCG reward on wow, a flying kite man that would be pretty boss.

Could you imagine how nice it would be to entertain a short attention span with a kite? make it a mini dragon kite or butterfly or something awwwww ya !



oooh script in non combat pet rewards that take up no slots, make fun of wow and give veterans pet dwarves and gnomes. I'm sure changing the graphics engine is a fair pinch of effort but you know how rawrsome that would be? you can make them as silly as you want too )
