the black lich lord is found outside of umbra malas past the vampires, they are very tough and do alot of damage

Well, the Black Lich Lord itself is quite formidable as it has already been said by Devlin that it is a relayered Dark Father that definitely hits harder than the Dark Father. But, to get to him, you have to get past the vampires, both regular and ancient, some of them being paragon; then there are at least 2 Shadow Wyrms and most importantly 2 Black Liches which are no easy push over especially if you are fighting something else when they come up. So, you really don't want to mess with the Black Lich Lord till those guys are eliminated. I would say it is a losing cause if you don't. If you are in a contest with the BLL, he will start spawning the same creatures as the Dark Father does. If the other baddies aren't eliminated and walk up upon you during this time, it should then become a very interesting time for you and your pets. (How many pets can you heal at a time?)

Oh ya, I almost forgot about the Dark Sapphire Dragon and Drake that are in there as well. The Drake is a pushover, but only to get your hopes up when you face the Dragon. The Sapphire Dragon is pretty mean as well. It can be done, but you would rather not fight a Lich and the Dragon at the same time, especially if anything else decides to join.

In my opinion, the Black Lich Lord area is a great place to develop strategy, make some good gold, gain fame and karma if you are looking for any,and to have a good time. If you want to go barging right on in there, then it is also a great place to train vet, as you will be rezzing your pets quite often. Take it slow and steady, and it should be a great experience.

personal experience with 5 nobles is solo black liches are very doable (havent faced a BLL yet) leave your pets way back and try and single pull them out of there. even if it is just a regular vampire because as soon as you run up on him you'll see something else that can and probobly will kill you. also i can solo Dark Saphire dragon if he is alone. But if even 1 regular vampire walks up on that fight it usually invites disaster. Also i have a heal pre cast because at 145 hp one smack from any of these can almost (if not ) kill me. hope that helps.

Also received an Armor of Fortune from him today.
Never gotten an arty from him before, now I'm 2/2. So I'm guessing +C changed this.
Which brings me to my next point
