Bone collecting

Collecting bones has been very depressing, i'm trying to get some for tailoring bods i seek to fill. It seems like all i can obtain is 1 per kill on some npcs and it's just taking way too much of a time investment this way than i'm interested in putting forward.

So far i'm getting 1 - 2 bones per minute maximum from hunting since most places aren't over spawned with bone dropping npcs.

Maybe there's something i'm missing, i tried technique that uo.stratics mentioned but none of them have worked for me and we dont have mystics or ter mur.

Soooo ex any tips or suggestions for bone gathering, maybe i've overlooked something?

I only know of 1 thing that drops more than 1 bone. a tsuki wolf. Go to Valor shrine in Tokuno and go North from the shrine. They have a good amount of bones used for crafting.

Unless something changed...don't Rune Beetles drop 11 bones on average?

Update: Just checked...I am getting 8-11 per Rune Beetle. They are West of the Fan Dancer Dojo, after you followed the mountains south to the point where they turn and head northeast. Careful though...those can be pretty mean. They hit hard and have both high poison and high magery.

Thank you very much for your help, i was getting no where on my own. Had to logout because i was just like bleh there has to be a better way and you guys showed me ^__^

I like the tsuki wolf spot because i found a yamandon to kill and it's a lot of fun =))

As i remember liches drops about 7 too btw what yamadon drops cool?

2500 gold and 1-3 magic items, the spawn rate is slow but they're fun to kill.

The revange lions in Tokuno and the spawn also drop ~10 bones.

One good thing is to have regular bones on exex, since we already have cloth, it should not be too difficult.

Horde minions drop 3 bones... I mention this because they are fast to kill and there are a few in Fan dancers... quick in and out for about 20+ or so. I usually collect materials on my way to slaying stuff... so i get bones and kill a few balron's. Hope this helps.
