an easy one for 3 slot dragons. already stock energy, fire, and strupen wyrm have great built in resistances in their specific damage type.. why not make say energy damage on an energy wyrm reflect.. even wild.. I think it could add to the challenge of fighting them..

I think those 3 dragon types annoy me the most that they are no better than a mule.. because its a) 3 slots and b) something the staff added to EX as a custom that due to its stats.. is deemed useless

I have 6 imp pets. I use them 5% of the time at most. At most champ spawns, druid spells are way better than imp pets. Also, my 60% mana leech YUMI + several relayered armor peices giving me insta bandages (220 dex) and 300+ hit points allows me to armor peirce indefinitly any mobs. Other than Ice wyrm and Paroxysmus, I can't think of a mob that I can't kill without my pets.

That being said, I am against any form of nerfing for the imp pets. They are hard to farm and also, it takes incredibly long to farm the oinments needed for them to be usefull. IMO, druid spells are way more powerfull for only a fraction of the price of one ointed imp pet.

The whole idea here is that we can come up with dozens of skills/items/pets in this game wich are overpowered compared to other skills/items/pets. Nerfing them might make a few players happy, but I beleive that it would make the gaming experience less fun for the vast majority.

You notice I DIDN'T say anything about taking away imprisoned pets immunity to stat loss because I didn't think that was a fair idea after lots of people (including me) have spent a lot of time and gold maxing them out with ointments BECAUSE they can't get stat losses.

So the only response I have seen so far is the ones that want to ignore the inbalance and the suggestion to work on other pets especially the multi-slot ones to make them a little more competitive. I agree the multi-slot pets need reworked BADLY. The imprisoned still need a bit of limitation. Nothing as drastic as giving them stat losses. But SOMETHING...

What is the point of this post? Imp pets are over powered? Everything on this shard is
Overpowered. If you want to nerf imp pets for being to powerful then why
Are you not going after relayers? Why are you not trying to get a skill cap and stat
Cap lowered since they are overpowered as well.

Honestly I am not trying to make this a personal attack you are entitled to you
opinion but I am sick of people wanting to regulate how I play the game.

If you don't want to use 5 max imps and plow though the content of the
Shard then don't. Please stop trying to get them nerfed. Let me have
The choice of how I want to play the game.

I am all for what yoda suggested about making other pets stronger but
Leave my pets alone.

I'm sorry, after reading your first post, I thought you were interested in hearing other player's opinions.

Well fingers yes I DID want to hear other people's opinions even the one you carefully cut out of your quote.

I still think imprisoned need an adjustment but going by the tone of most of the responses I would seem to be in a minority.

As for the person that asked why I don't ask for changes in relayers or other items, I don't think they need a change as badly as imprisoned do. The odds of any of these being changed is small to none it would appear.
