Twas the night before Christmas, and all thru the castle
Not a critter was stirring, not even an earth elemental
The bags of holding were hung by the fireplace with care
In hopes that Colibri soon would be there

The Imp pets were nestled all snug in their beds
While visions of raw meat danced in their heads
And Nyx in her gown and I in my dread hat
Had just settled down for a long winter’s nightcap
When outside of the castle there arose such commotion
I sprang up and spilled all my agility potions

Away to the ramparts I ported in a flash
Casted night sight and looked across the grass
Moonglow was shining on the new falling snow
Giving the luster of noon shard time to the things below
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear
But Veritas and eight angry blue peers

Off to the left I was heartened to see
Who else had come along it was Colibri
More rapid then paragons all of a sudden they came
And he ranted and raved and called them by name

Now Paroxymus, now Melisande, Now dread horn, and Effusion
Now Grizzle, now Medusa, now Travesty, and Legion
To the top of the porch, to the top of the wall
Mortal strike, mortal strike, mortal strike all
