the shadow and gleam are both account bound. the fang is not 
i find it much easier to clear out a house near a gleam, and sucker it in for dinner. also, i would suggest if you do not have insta heal to go in a party. party should consist of 1-2 tanks, 2 archers/clerics for healing, or the super easy way.
