Bulk Order Deeds and how to manage them

Post by Rhodry »

Might someone know of a good utility for managing bulk order deeds for this server?
I have tried to modify one of the old tools I used on OSI servers way back when but my scripting skills are limited and it didn't work to well.
Is there something available that works with the additional resource types and maybe the carp/fletching and taming bods as well?

Bulk order books, they are books that allow you to store bulk order deeds and tells u what is needed for the deed and will let u drop the deed out of the book and add it back whenever you need it

I think he meant it on another scale. ;)

Sorry to say, but I have yet to see an automated system for BOD handling. Right now the best you can do is keep 10's of BOD books for each type and sort them by hand. Like a book for 10's, 15's, 20's and larges for each ingot colour in BS. Yeah, that's a lot of books, but at least you will be able to find whatever you're looking for fast. Would be nice if there was a BOD library script, but alas - that's only wishful thinking...

It'd be easy if you could get the script to identify what the bod actually is. But that'd be hard without server side support.

I had posted a request for this some time ago. This seems possible with EasyUO, I just haven't had time to investigate further.

I've been doing blacksmithy and taming BODs pretty hardcore lately. Now I'm adding tailoring to this mix. My BOD chaos pain is growing ...

i saw a script for this on easyuo, that didn't work here, i think because of the custom bods, and custom resources. It then used another program to tell you which large bods you had all the small bods for.

I think this was it:

It uses optical recognition to look through your books, and figure out what you have. Then, you import that data into UoBod (would probably have to be re-written?) and it would tell you which lbods you had all the smalls for.

I made some excel/spreadsheet workbooks you can use to keep track of bods.
gotta put everything in manually though and remember to add/remove things as needed!

Yes that was one of the ones I tried along with UOBod and an older version of the same (based on excel).
I was looking for something that would scan the books for import to save on all the typing (I have a bit of an RSI issue atm so any typing reduction is most welcome).

There was a time when you could use UOA's clipboard feature to do an import into excel but I haven't been able to get UOA working with this server. I am not aware that Razor has the same feature. Has anyone been able to use razor to scan to clipboard?
