Personal Animal Spawner

Before purchasing my personal animal spawner I could not find a list of the animals it included. I have been to many houses where people have personal animals spawns and I have seen gorillas, skittering hoppers, and giant toads. I purchased 3 intending on doing gorilla, skittering hopper, and giant toad spawns. I am very disappointed to find that the list does not include any of those things. Is there a way to return them and get my money back as they less than useless for my purpose?

There is no way to "return" it to get your money back, however, I beleive that I saw a post once that you actually have to page a GM to get "special" animal spawners...

Hey there,

the personal spawners out in the world were created manually, and we basically didn't have an official list of what is allowed, so sometimes things got out that shouldnt be.

Also please note that there is a difference between a regular spawner, from which you can tame the animals, and the decorative "special spawner" which allows for some extra creatures, since they cannot be tamed or harmed.

I'll check on these four you mentioned if they're "regular" or "common" enough to be on this regular spawner.

To put it in other words, animals on the regular spawner should be the kind that you find anywhere in the world, that are very common. Bears, farm animals, cats dogs rats, wolves...

Skittering hopper: indigenous to a part of Malas, doesn't qualify.
Giant toad: although only in swamp lands, there's quite many of them in the world, so I'm adding this one to the list.
Gorilla: found in parts of ilshenar and lost lands, i'd say it's not exactly common, so it's not going on the list.

So for those few that got a skittering hopper or gorilla manually placed by staff, i guess lucky them, though it doesn't present any imbalance to the game, just decorative, so i'll let them be (no forced undo&refund).

Giant toads are now on the menu. As for the 2 excess spawners, you can chose a different animal, or sell them. I'd offer to refund them for you (since at the moment you cannot see which animals are available) but then we might get a whole lot of similar requests for a refund, so that's not a good idea, i hope you understand.
