not sure whats wrong but I have gone to several different mages to train magery, and they say I know all they can teach. yet I only have 16.7 points..I have sat at the rat quest area shooting fireballs and cant get any more gains. so something is stuck. anyone have any ideas?

Get a 100% lrc suit, afk train your magery up, its super easy to raise. You can cap it within a couple hours.

this is a new toon. he doesnt have any mage jewelry on. he has a total of 16.7 points. when I go to the shop it wont let me train. says I know all they can teach me. I've gone to 4 different towns and shops.
I've tried to train manually and with Guadah's skill trainer and all it does is waste regents. no gains at all.
Now I'm training chiv, and i get messages saying my mage skill dropped 20% down to 16.7 (which it has been at since I started)
I'm thinkin I may have to wipe this guy out and start a new one- which sucks cause I worked hard to get a small little house to get my grind on...

well got some GM help and now i feel stupid. I have a weapon that is -20 mage. _HOWEVER_ it still doesnt explain why I cant get any gains...

Is the skill locked under the skills tab on your paperdoll?
