This has been happening for as long as I can remember. I didn't know this isn't supposed to happen.
It also happens using necromancy, and when I use spell channeling weapons. Any help?

Probably an option in Razor to disarm before casing spells.

razor | more options tab | uncheck "auto Unequip hands before casting"
