Random Bee Checks
Re: Random Bee Checks
the world save theory. well wouldn't that also save all the hives. so all the hives are stopped for those seconds? it would move the server timer vs. your time, but wouldn't spread out the hives timer. then there's the server time and the game time, yeah i know game time goes by server time. so when a world saves happens, does it pause the whole server, while saving the information, or does the server time still ticks away? i dunno but i noticed that too. i'm still trying to figure out how many pitchers per 100k bees, and plants for 100k bees. sick of making potions.

Re: Random Bee Checks
I had another theory last night while tending my plants. I had some that were green in pot (not grown to pollenation yet), and i was watering them, and then a world save happened and I noticed that the plants all grew up after the save was complete. Could it be that the beehive time slowly wanders because the hives refresh in the same way (at saves only)? I don't know how frequent the saves are right now (one hour?), but if the save time differs from day to day by a few seconds/minutes, wouldn't that cause what we're talking about here?

Re: Random Bee Checks
the world save would affect your time vs. game time. everytime the world saves let's say 5 secs. that's if the server time freezes also while the game saves. i just don't know if game time is the same as server time. next time a world saves is about to happen check the time ([account) before and after to see if that affects your time vs game time. but i'm just wondering why each hive changes. i mean if the game freezes for 5 secs would all the hives be affected by that? what i theorize is that due to plants all around and water that some hives drop in health ratings. you know one's thriving and one's healthy? well if you have one hive that is thriving and one is sickly...does that affect when they need gpoison/gcures. if the sickly needs more careful watching ie...curing and poisoning twice a day will that affect the time you need to attend to it? lots of weird factors.
Re: Random Bee Checks
Yeah, that's what I'm saying anarchy...if the hives only refresh during worldsaves, then if the worldsaves are not exactly the same time every day, it will move the refresh time of the hive.

Re: Random Bee Checks
I've had this happen to me several times. It got to the point where I have to take the axe to them to reset them. Just had to do it again the other day. I've mentioned it before also.
Re: Random Bee Checks
yeah i just chopped mine down. didn't want to keep making potions for that, and sometimes i like to log out at place (non champ spawns), and they always get sick while i'm at work. so i gave up on that. if you don't hunt a lot then it's a good things to do to get gold. actually it's a very good thing to do when your new to get that mass amount of gold.
