i think your doing a great job. i think i have been to 2 of the approaching shadow, but couldn't make it to the rest of them due to the time. i'm old and i go to bed at around 9pm central usa time. so i miss out on a few of the things. I love that you asked us about healing, and that made me appreciate you even more than i did before. you always seem to be very nice (blood thirsty maybe) but nice when i've talked to you in game.

bad things. finish one things before starting another. sorry to be blunt about it but there are a lot of players still waiting for the invasion (then again no one has come up with a good strategy or teams. lol). so i don't know if your being considerate in waiting knowing that if you do put it on someone's gonna complain that we weren't ready or something. <----never fails someone always does.

what you bring to the shard: excitement, events, good humor, fairness, common sense, pride in your work, knowledge, and caring. plus more that i'm not remembering. does the bad out weigh the good. not by a long shot.

i've played on numerous shards (mostly pvp), but this shard has been the most fun i've had since 1997, and seeing that i quit before AoS this has been a new and exciting learning experience. i knew there were good shards out there but it took me 13 years to find one.

oh yeah forgot one more bad thing....STOP TEACHING +HINA THINGS. j/k lub ya both.

Use your powers to extend game play experience as opposed to limiting them.

Labyrinth in a GMs eyes a year ago could have been seen as Exploiting by teleporting on top of the block and fighting the Mintours safely. There were stairs put in so that the Mintours can 1 hit kill all the newer people.

From my knowledge Champs Skulls went by first come first serve basis along with all of the peerless monsters. But when Ice wyrm dies you dont get a message saying you were the lucky one and the piece pops in your bag. How does someone getting there 5 candles into it count as first come first serve?

You seem to be the only one who "wants" to know what we want. The only one that cares enough to make the question public. I have been on your bad side and at the time I would say your not right, but after looking back you were right. You have been here longer than alot of us and we all love your events. There are no dungeons that the players with relayers can feel challenged in and you accomplish this whenever you are available with the events.

There is a hole in the ground, to the west of the gate that leads into Felucca. You are only allowed to enter this hole if you are 21 days or younger. Could you possibly make a dungeon that you could not enter unless you were older than 21 days? Maybe there can be a passage that you must go thru like the event place. When you say what needs to be said for you to enter and from then on you are allowed to enter that dungeon. A one time thing not have to do it every time you go to that dungeon. So people will know this Dungeon is Hard enter at your own risk.

I pretty much agree with everything said here with the exception that i'd like to see more staff.

I used to GM on a WoW server with 25,000 players and there were about 25 people staffing there, so i'm aware depending on how you look at things, you could have more staff than you need on a server like this with fewer than 300 players.

The problem is the end game tends to be very short sighted, on regular wow things like skill cap keep it interesting since you have to make more characters to play different ways, but even if there were a skill cap here, it wouldn't mater since everything is so unbalanced.

For some reason, all the staff seem to be generally opposed to big numbers, which is something I can't understand, every one on staff seems to dislike large hit point pools, large damage output and large income, you seem more in favor of nerfing, but I can never understand why. In a game where you control every variable, if you let players get a place where they are extremely powerful, just increase the power of everything around, nerfing feels bad, creating challenges feels good.

Two things come to mind when I think about this, and that is casters, first and foremost, need a huge buff, since at the moment, the only time any body realistically uses magery is in the beginning, you don't ever see anybody running around casting blade spirits, energy bolts and flame strikes.To fix this I would suggest you modify the coefficient on evaluating intelligence and magery itself, and LIMIT the amount of SDI(From all sources) that can be applied to spell hit components on weapons, so that when you buff casters you don't unintentially buff those who favor weaopns(Cough*yumis*Cough*)

Secondly, everything BUT Yumi's needs a buff. the only thing that comes close to hitting as hard as a Yumi are weapons with Crushing blow and those tend to always fall short by about 50 points of damage when compared to the maximum damage output a Yumi can do. On regular UO, weapons were measured by their speed and damage output, but here, you can obtain enough dex that your swing timer is the lowest possible with any weapon you use no mater what, in order to fix that I would suggest you bring the damage on all the other weapons up. Captain Jack Sparrows cutless was most likely intended to be the best melee weapon in the game, but it still pales compared to a yumi.

I really like this idea, but I think that its probably already in the works with Veritas' elemental dungeon.

Theres a fine line between asking for what is needed and asking for what you want. i only say this as you seem to contradict yourself, stating outright (pretty much like everyone else has...and dont get me wrong i agree) that nerfing is bad (...but challenges are good) yet you want to see weapon hit spells AND SDI caps nerfed, might as wile just take away the godly 46 / 58% weapons away from the loot tables all together wile your at it.

I know this post is off topic slightly, and im not in any way trying to pick on you / flame you, as many people seem to see constructive criticism as bad mouthing them.

the thing that puts me off about magery is the who casting factor (lol) its quicker for me to smash something with my hammer or blast it with a yumi than it is to wait for a spell to cast but just as much as how many people would be agrivated with a dex nerf, i belive just as many would hate the idea of having wasted x amount of points on 1, 2 or in some cases 3 hit spells and a butt load of SDI on their gear.

In the spirit of helping +V and what seems to me could only be a "how can i improve my service to the shard" new years resolution ^_- i DO think nerfing is bad, but the problem is many players are settled in already to the current situation, its easier to nerf, but perhaps what is needed are work around (but somehow fixing a problem (allegedly) without creating another)

when I said cap SDI for +hit weapons, I was mostly referencing the Evaluating intelligence buff I mentioned earlier in my post.

I want some way to distinguish a lightning bolt cast from a caster between a lightning bolt cast by a bow. The lighting bolt cast by a caster needs to do 300 damage (before resists) and the lightning bolt cast by a now needs to still do around 60 damage(before resists)

Its not so much a nerf to +hit weapons as it is, a control on them to bring casters up to where they should be without nerfing every one.

Just so you know, i'm one of those people you referenced, I've invested quite a lot in my collectors edition bow (Its a good old fashioned 58x4, level 96 one handed Yumi ) So when you say that I'm crying for nerfs, just keep in mind that I do fit the current cookie cutter.

I've yet to attend any +V events but look forward to doing Dethbol. It seems most of the newer or "moderately" powered players on the shard avoid these events. I think it's due to the lack of hps and leet items and the misunderstanding they will be equipped with event gear/spells. Maybe a town crier message would attract more people to your events.

I know this is a NON pvp shard with it's exceptions but a lot of players love to yammer about how they are the best. Nothing and I mean nothing is more exciting than scooting your butt threw a 12x12 arena with no escape while trying to cast mini-heal with a warrior pounding on your head and the crowd bounding around the arena just to get a peek at the fight.(Just a thought but i think it would clear some of the smoke blowing on the shard=X)
You are fair to all players, justified with your actions, and swift with your punishments.

No need for improvements on yourself maybe just add a different type of event and work on those areas that some complain about being closed?
