Re: new donation rule
I have donated a really decent amount over the last year and I live in good ol USA. With the new change going through I will not be donating anymore. I cant be certain but I would be willing to bet the majority of players are from the USA and the majority of donaters from the USA. Now instead of being thanked for the dedication it feels like were being punished? I like the shard alot but this really pissed on my campfire.

Re: new donation rule
Im not happy with donation changes as well. I too donated on regular basis, witch wont be the case anymore. I MIGHT still donate and IF smaller amounts then before.
And if the staff, after all that "complains" revoke latest changes, I WILL continue to donate on regular basis.

It probably has something to do with this
No one wants US dollars any more. With some quick web searching, you can find literally millions of links from all over the world about dumping the dollar. I found 5,040,000 results for the phrase "dump us dollars."
You will have much bigger problems in the near future than some game that doesn't take US dollars. Like buying groceries.

Re: new donation rule
Unfortunately, the US dollar is only the first - with this fractional reserve system we push into other countries' economies, its only a matter of time before it all collapses (its beginning to happen already).Ceara wrote:No one wants US dollars any more. Agreed, there is little value remaining in any existing currency on the planet because most money doesn't actually exist.

Re: new donation rule
The decreasing USD is going to cause USA's collapse. If it loses the "World Reserve Currency" sticker it will be the Depression x100.
Re: new donation rule
I think we should, with our completely amateur understanding of world economics, continue to speculate the future of the american dollar, this conversation is very valid and enriches my understanding of the USD.
My speculation is that the USD will soon be replaced with Goats, goats will be the main currency of the united states in the future.

Also, clearly by this chart the USD is the only currency that has lost its value in the last 100 years.
