Atm the elven note value vs. gold value for an imp is kinda same
It was then too, except elven notes were 2k each back then. It was near impossible to find an imp for sale for less than a million.
Even the lowest strength ones. I've seen them as low as 250k - 500k in the past months, which means they are worth approximately a quarter to a half of what they used to be.

Which makes sense - greater supply should equal lower prices. Imps only permanently disappaear if they're left to go wild or deleted out of existence with an account, so I'd have to guess the rate of acquisition on imps far outstrips the rate of attrition.
