if its a connectivity issue does that mean everybody that was online got disconnected and their character is just standing around being killed?

It means that some folks got disconnected, the same as if your power had gone out or your own ISP had dropped. Your character would remain in-world for the usual length of time (around 20 seconds) before disappearing.

I was laughing because Khristoph said it was the east and west coasts of the US, neither of which is particularly close to where the server is in canada, and yet all the trouble was happening for folks to stay connected.

I know you do the right thing but i just enter in the Grim Reaper room and get a nice arty from the chest and die and cannot connect and my body decay I notice the server run well so i understand, sorry +Nyx lol and i have a huge bag of holding of course but i put it in my backpack

Server just crashed, but it should be online in a few minutes.

(I wanted to restart it today or tomorrow anyway, so i took the opportunity to include the recent additions and fixes).

Since this was an unplanned "restart", there was a 15 minute revert

The achievements for skills still not popping. Was that update in this restart?

Server off? Does it happened before? It usually take long?

We had an announced server restart (maybe you didn't see it because you werent connected before it went down, or didn't see the message).
A restart like this is usually every week.

Having some trouble starting the server with the recent upgrades, should be anoter 15-30 minutes of downtime.

Shard is now online.

Im definitely having some sort of issue as well.

Not to add to an already mentioned problem, but I cannot login as well. Sure it will be back up momentarily, and I will be online when it is.

I hope is notthing serious. Would be saddly funny if everbody lost everything...
