I'll be honest with you John Warren. I don't like you. You have advocated for my permanent dismissal from the server for minor cheating. (Which was paid back in full. While being the subject for +C to learn how to "Dismantle" relayers after they were made.) You had an absolute melt down when +C decided to not ban me. To date, I have not tried to cheat again. I'm pretty sure +C looks more often than he will admit, to make sure his choice to let me stay was not the wrong one.

You are also on the list of players that messed with me over the years for not conforming. (You've had your hand in making my time on here harder over the years. Just because you are less vocal now days. Does not erase that.) So that's a black mark on your record with me. Overreacting? Sure. I'm fine with that. I dislike you enough to have that issue. The slightest thing you do bothers me. So of course, I take anything in the way of even "Joking" about how the way I play needs to be nerfed personally.

So even if you think your being "funny".. you're not. Your sense of humor is so dry, that any moisture from the air would be absorbed by it. I take most of what you have to say offensively, and I will not make any apologies for that. Besides. Your so-called joking has a lot of personal truth for you to it.

I'm not diplomatic JW. No matter how much I try. So don't expect me to appreciate you.. at all..

I blocked Moulkie on the forms in game anywhere and every where I could you couldn't fathom how much happier I am. I was at the end of the line with his moronic ways. But it's all over now I just know this he will try to defend him self and I'll never even see it and that makes it even better

@Lachian: Good to hear you've got a diverse range of interests and kudos on your charitable acts. It pays to help and it must be especially nice to return the favour to those who have helped you in the past. I am sure Yuki will leave you alone now, at least I hope they will.

I was literally just saying Lachian can spend his money however he wants and people should stop donation shaming. My point was we donate to stuff some people think is a waste but it makes us happy and that's all that matters. And yes, some goes to charities and non profits but most of it this year has gone into various political campaigns so I'm the last person who will judge what others do with their money.

Hehe, it's all good Yuki, I think Lach was referring to me, and I tried to hot potato it to you. I think if his spending didn't have such a profound impact on the game many have spent years enjoying they wouldn't voice it in a forum about the game. Australian humour always translates poorly across the pacific... The poms (English) get it better than yanks (North Americans). Might seem dry, it's definitely at your expense in this instance, but that's how we do it, sorry. Dry, self-deprecating and havin' a dig at ya mates. Apparently, it's all not Aussies that don't know what a joke is, or how to form it.. I think it is specific only to you JW. I don't laugh at, or care for "knock knock" or "A guy walks into a bar" jokes. Your understanding of American humor, and Americans in general is extremely lacking. Not all of us are fat and stupid. Just like how I can understand not all Aussies look like underweight (or in some cases extremely fat), sweaty, unbathed, snaggle toothed hillbillies, that act like a badly written Crocodile Dundee minion either. I actually had a better opinion of people from Australia.. Until I started dealing you and a handful of others on this server that live there.. Now my opinion is rather unfriendly of people from Australia in general. You guys have a really narrow perspective on how you look at people from my side of the pond.

Don't judge my country, or me by the idiots that push their way in to ruin things for their own benefit. Same can be said about your country to. You people are not free of many problems we face today with bad leadership.

As for breaking the codex? So what? I was caught. I was punished. It is done. Move on.. However, it was not that I tried that hard to hide the activity. All my accounts were listed as the same name with a different number and hyphens. A blind man would have seen it. I even told +C I wasn't trying to really hide it. Ask him if you don't believe me. (Hence why I was caught. It wasn't from any belief of brilliant detective work on your end. +C was watching me for a while.) I made what? 500k a day from doing 9 accounts with voting? (Higher ED prices at the time.)

As for breaking the Codex.. Since you have a way to intermittently watch the screen to make sure you answer an AFK checks while working, to gold farm. Doesn't mean you aren't breaking the codex in a less obvious way. So, you can get away with making more than the 500k I was making a day by monitoring the game playing for you every so often.. Good way around the Codex. But I still consider the computer playing "for you" as cheating. (I don't care if +C sees it as cheating or not. It's my personal view. Just because you can appease him, doesn't mean anything.) How do I know this? You said how you farm gold in many different forum posts. (SHOCKER! Americans retain what they read!) Finding ways around not being able to be called a cheater.. does not make you any less of one. Ask any politician...

Now, as for not liking you... yeah.. pretty sure I am not alone in this.. and no, it's not because you are "Super Cool", or "Just a too Awesome of a Guy". People aren't exactly annoyed with you for the reasons you think.. Arrogance, and a high belief you are automatically above others. Is the main reason. I don't like you for some of the same reasons. However, my dislike for you exists with a caveat.

You push, advocate, and demand conformity. Which is a rather big problem in your country, as well as most of Europe. Not that it should bother me personally.. but when you push yourself onto someone to play a video game the way you deem "worthy", it causes problems. Problems you are not worried about creating so you can continue to work the system, and make people unbalanced enough to try and take advantage of it further. No one likes to be singled out or ostracized. (And you know this psychological/emotional trick well.) However, that is what you do by being unreasonably harsh to people who are just looking to have an escape from reality and play a simple video game.

Far as I can see of your behavior, your actions. You are a weasel. And it took me a long time to realize than your opinion, as well as the opinions of others mean nothing.

You only get away with what you get away with, because not enough attention is cast on to you. You make sure you point the accusing finger at others, so you look "cleaner" and more honorable than you really are. News flash JW.. You by no means are even close to perfect. This is one of the things people don't like about you. You have an apparent lack of "Humility". Always seeing people as lesser than you. (Trust me, people notice this quickly.)

Does anyone use Magic Wands? I purpose recurring quest NPC that gives quests for finding Magic Wands to fill. Perhaps a request for a certain wand or wands with a special reward.

So, the wands that drop from chests are all very useless, low-level spells for the most part. They also require being equipped to cast them, so they are only worth the tokens that the trash bag will give you for them.

I'd love to see something done with them - if nothing else, it would be fun to have a fireworks wand that can absorb charges from the junk wands.

Make the wands craftable with maybe Tinkering + Magery skill. (Default like 50 charges).

Context menu on the wand to add charges, prompt for a target, target a junk wand.

The junk wand is then stripped of charges and fireworks charges are added to the wand. Max of like 5k charges.

Wand is destroyed when it reaches 0 charges.

I feel like this would be quite simple to code, would give tinkers a new item to craft, give wands a use, and not break the game in any way. Plus, fireworks are fun and a market might grow around them for special events, etc.

+C has made it pretty clear in recent times that these little ad-hoc suggestions aren't going to be implemented and worked on.

This is unfortunate. I've gathered through cultural osmosis that he was apparently betrayed in the past and is hesitant to give people access. As you mentioned, he's super busy with real life, which effectively means nothing is *really* being worked on.

There are a lot of massive projects that get posted about occasionally, but the return on investment for those is tiny compared to all the quick wins you could knock out in an afternoon coding session on a lazy Sunday.

Like, the system around giving access for people to build stuff - a lot of effort and the only real thing I've seen come from it is a few new deco items you can buy for a limited time from a TC stone. Making these items might be fun, but has been locked to an extremely limited number of people. Kudos for the effort, but at some point you need to do an analysis of effort vs return to prioritize what is best to focus on to keep people engaged.

I can't say I disagree with the point you made with how reluctant +C is toward implementing things Emerite. Betrayal is an ugly thing, and it can take a long time to get over. For +C, it could be not wanting to deal with people or trust them should their behavior mirror too closely to someone who has betrayed him badly in the past. It's a real issue many people suffer from that does not get enough attention shined onto it. This is likely why he has only handed a handful of people the new thing/s he has been working on. Because they do not exhibit the warning signs his mind has constructed from past experiences.

I also feel +C tends to listen to the louder people on the server. Rather than taking a chance and listening only to himself when it comes to the changes for the server. I'm pretty sure he has a wealth of ideas he will never implement due to a silent fear of push back for the idea/s he has in mind, by the louder and easier to disappoint crowd on this server. (At least that is what I gathered when I have talked to him personally.)

Until +C realizes his server will still be here after he does the changes "He" wants to add, nothing will change for the better. And I do believe a lot of things can be coded on a lazy Sunday afternoon (As you have mentioned). But I also understand how fear of people can paralyze a person's ability to see a better outcome.

As for the wand Idea? I think it's a good one. I personally would like to see more powerful wands with spells like Energy Bolt, Flame Strike, Chain Lightning, ect. While having them be rechargeable (Or like Tokuno flutes. Replenishing charges over time while not in use.) I'm very big on enjoying a game, rather than being the type that would prefer to Min/Max and throw the rest away. Which unfortunately has been the pushed focus of the player base for many years here. Making Crafting skills pointless after a short period of time. While also burying every other skill that doesn't give the maximum potential for gold earnings. Since a stock market actually exists in the game to enforce extreme capitalism. (Doesn't help how people from across the globe who say they hate capitalism perpetuate it more than Americans do.)

I personally don't ask for much. However. If I could ask for just 1 thing. It would be ... "Please fix the code to where weapons (Including wands) can be seen in hand when moving or fighting again." I like to role play with other weapons in the game. Mainly because it gets too stale just using 1 or 2 weapons permanently. I can still casually squeeze out 3+ million gold in a day using a mid-tier Broad Sword while watching YouTube. Pretty sure I could make just around 3 mil using a well-built Cleaver or Leaf Blade. Just for fun. I would have made a wand to fight with. However, I won't because I can't see it in hand while moving or fighting.

There are a lot of silent players that feel the way I do. They are here to have fun. Not to be the best. But of course, you won't hear them speak about it due to the severe backlash of the min/maxers. They prefer to go much harder in game to build a reputation, and typically have something extremely negative to say about it. (Not excluding public shaming and ostracization.) Which could be a contributing factor as to why +C does not act.

Simple put ... He does not want to be publicly berated for wasting "His" resources and time for something the louder (and smallest) portion of the server population does not deem worthy. Because it does not openly enforce a benefit for their position. So, they will have something ugly to throw at +C for feeling ignored. It is my opinion, that until +C stops listening to the smallest and loudest group on this server, people will continue to leave and complain about the inaction of the shard owner itself.
