I took a little time to make sure, but yes, those silly flowerpots (crafted with the wax tool) do seem to work for bees. I got my first wax and honey yield from a hive using only one such flowerpot this morning, but I dismantled my experimental hive for now, for lack of anything else I want to test.

My final results: non-flowers such as snake plants and cactus do not work for bees. Lilies and crafted flowerpots do work for bees.

Anyone want to test out on a container renamed 'Flower' by an engraver? I am just getting my bees set up so cannot really do an experiment
