I can't be certain of course, but just something I had a problem with. When I first started my hives, one row always said it had too much water. It turned out to be an event coffee mug, on a table two floors down. Point being, its not only water pitchers and troughs that provide water. But to answer the green and yellow + signs issue, a green + means one too many plants or water, and a yellow + means two or more too many plants or water. Remember that as the hives mature, they can reach farther for resources, even into a neighbors house. I went with 22 hives all placed within reach of a central tile. On the floor below, i have all my water (3 pitchers) and all my flowers (7 flowers) stacked on one tile directly under the central tile.
