Geez, I don't see you guys giving +C grief for the lack of progress on the booster patch & facet needs. It's always "well +C is busy in RL". Didn't occur to you that perhaps something came up for +V too? Trying to be funny or not, between your page the other day and this post, it's not seeming funny; it's seeming passive aggressive. I am not angry at you, but I wanted you to know how your remarks are coming across, in case you weren't aware.

In past iterations of this event I have done the scoring because I've had the spare time, but this round neither of us did. Used to be that if we weren't 100% sure we would have enough free time to run an event perfectly we wouldn't run it at all but y'all asked us to run them anyway and most folks said they didn't mind some delays if things came up. I'd appreciate it if everyone could strive to display that level of patience, or we're just going to go back to not running events when we've got stuff going on in RL that might cause delays (which is pretty much all the time lately, unfortunately. Pesky RL responsibilities! ), to avoid the grumbling.

As it so happens, something *did* come up last night. +V had computer trouble and wasn't able to get in game for a large portion of the night. Once he did, he worked on tallying scores for over 5 hours, until almost 2AM when he couldn't keep his eyes open any longer. Tallying scores for this event is always extremely time consuming, let alone boring. We've tried to come up with ways to make the tallying go quicker and easier but thus far nothing has worked, and since this event is so well loved by the players we don't want to just stop running them.

Rewards will likely go out today. There were far more ties than we'd hoped, so figuring out what to do about that, preparing the reward bags and sending them out will take some time.
