Question about [exex

Is it possible to just browse and see what is for sale on [exex? I'm not shopping for anything in particular, but i may see something i like.

[exex is generally for resources, tools, and consumables. If you're looking for actual items vendors.uoex.net is your best bet.

yes, but say you want to buy leather, but you want to see if anyone is selling it cheaper than you direct buying it. i thought they wanted sell orders up instead of just selling it direct.

Direct buy is the cheapest price anybody is currently selling it for. Some may be selling it for more; they'll show up after you buy all that's for sale at the cheapest price.
If you want to buy for less, you can create a buy order. If your buy order is more than the current sell direct price, the sell direct price will increase to your price and you'll receive the leather from anybody who uses direct sell.
It works like a stock exchange. You can buy or sell at the current market price or you can put in an order to buy or sell when the market reaches a price you consider favorable.
