Having said that, a matter was brought to my attention though. Guys, player run events are not easy to plan and execute. There are many volunteers who spend at least a month planning things, not to mention the gold we spend to get things as close to perfect as we can. And while we WANT feedback, we also want to be respected for the time and energy we have put in. When you hate something we've set up, please don't just put in general "I hate it!" or "Worst thing ever!".... this doesn't help us plan better events in the future! Instead, send a message to one of the volunteers so that they can find out what you feel is wrong with the event.
Also, I heard that a certain player decided to take advantage of the fact that we used the PvP dungeon as part of the quest line. While they were completely within the rules of the shard (as in they violated no rule), they did violate common courtesy. Harassment at a player run event will not be tolerated guys. While we aren't staff on the shard and we can't jail, we can (and will!) keep a running list of trouble makers who may be excluded from future events. We used the PvP dungeon last night after much discussion of how we wanted the event to go and we felt that the storyline of the Black Knight far outweighed the issues that could arise. If we utilize it in the future, we'll be adding additional "bouncers" and harassers will be killed if need be. I hate to think people would be immature enough to continue causing issues.

Moving forward, we are now setting up a formal group to plan events in the future. Please check out Lorenth's thread in regards to The Dead Parrots Society http://www.uoex.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10400 Please note that this is NOT a guild! We welcome people from all guilds to join us in helping to form events in the future.
If you have any questions and/or comments, please message me here or PM me in game (Neve DeLeon).
