Excelsior

So I wanted to share my view of the eclipse with everyone. It only allows 4 images per, so scroll down to see the rest. I shrunk the images for easier viewing. This was an amazing event. Here in St. Louis Missouri we had nearly 2 full minutes of totality. It got as dark as night time with a full moon. The street lights came on, the pool lights came on, and the crickets began to chirp like night time. Was a pretty amazing event!!

The last image was of totality, unfortunately I did not have the correct filters to get a good picture of it

Hey Acid!!! I am just a bit SW of you on 30!!!! We were somewhat closer and totality lasted a bit longer. Some neighbors set off a bunch of fireworks after. All happy stuff!

Just found out, different county out 21. Still, close!

=Colibri I was chillin' laying back on the hood of my car in the driveway. Neighbors set off fireworks after it was done!

Crowds were more on the roads than where they were trying to get to. More likely that your picture was a crowd of boxed in autos!
