Is it an error that Daemons have only 1 demonic leather on corpse?

no it's meant to be like that. if you are looking to get a large amount of daemonic leather, the best way to do that is to use a garg skinning knife. the leather will be random that you get off of stuff, but you will accumulate a large amount of daemonic leather this way. go to destard, kill buncha dragons and drakes, skin with garg knife, and there ya go. make sure when you skin the daemonic elementals that pop up that you use a regular skinning knife on it so you get the 50 daemonic leather off the corpse.
