Can anyone give me some idea what pre-chest loot is worth keeping and what I should ditch? I know the chests and many rewards in the chests are nice but what I've kept, I'd rather turn them into tokens.

Pillows and paintings are the most valuable, followed by furniture (globes, stools, etc). The other stuff isn't really worth anything.
