Help Training Tracking

Hi guys and gals,

I've been trying to train tracking but whatever I do the skill won't budge from what I bought at an NPC. It seems like it always fails according to the system message, 'you lost your quarry' or something, but the tracking arrow does appear so I'm wondering if there's a bug in the skill or if I'm just doing it wrong.

You can't gain from tracking by tracking the same target again and again, you need to use a unique target each time. I got to GM by making a simple macro that used the skill, chose monster type and tracked the first one on the list, and then waited ten seconds before repeating the loop.

I ran this while I went about my normal hunting and I was GM in probably something like 5 hours of hunting, as you are generating a lot of new targets when you kill stuff and run around. Difficult to estimate the total time as I don't play very regularly and it happened over a period of a few weeks.
