Hey i'm new to the shard but i just thought i'd chime in with a few things
Absolutely love the shard, its hard to find good free shards around nowadays and its especially impressive that its quite highly populated while gateway is down and connectUO has a broken link ^_^
Well while fighting the dreaded headless beasts you guys put in the new player dungeon i realised that something i was used to on other servers and this is the honor virtue system. It's really simple to implement and also means that meleers who either choose to because they don't like pets or just because they're new and don't have taming yet have a bit of an edge i loved the honor system on other shards and would absolutely love to see it here to as i'm not really a pets man myself
haha yeah i did spot the post about the scripters being bogged down...unfortunately after i posted hehe thanks for the welcome! Yeah i'm a big fan of dexxing and not really a 5 pets out to bash one monster kinda guy give me 1 dragon or my own bare hands anyday ^_^
Personally I was never a huge dexer...Actually just started working skills to play that way some thanks to some good advice and seeing someone melee something my bio and i would have had a hard time with. I have always been more of a mage/tamer type but would love to see some love go to other play styles. Varitey adds some spice to any game.
If it is worth doing at all, it is worth doing well.
Yeah i can see that taming is huge hear and for good reason, i mean who doesn't like training a pet getting to now it and giving it a semi-ironic name? Seeing a dragon called fluffy chain kill the gauntlet a bunch of times never gets old ^_^ i just love to smash things up melee wise sometimes i guess i'll have to learn the tricks of the melee trade on this shard if anyone can point me in the right direction for a guide or have any personal tips i'd love to hear them
