Blaze '09'

I've only been playing UO for four mounths and all four have been on the Excelsior shard. The reason i have stayed with this shard is because of a handfull of players and what i've seen of Colibri's dedication.
In the four mounths i have played this game. I have had help from from a handfull of players that i am greatfull for. I have also been treated very poorly at times.
In this time one name has been consistent that name being Blaze Budd. The point of my post here is to recommand Blaze for staff membership.Or atleast a higher role within the Excelsior shard. He has been very helpfull to me and many players on this shard. I see him every night in globel chat being helpfull, fair ,Polite,patient, and respectful to every player and have yet to see him ask anything in return. I honestly feel that he would be asset to Excelsior.
I live in EST:US and most time there are no other staff online. Or that i've seen

While I'm flattered by your recommendation, I'm sure there's plenty of candidates out there who are more deserving. Not to mention that being a staffer is a boat-load more work than I think I'd be able to handle. I think I'd much rather stay away from 'all work and no play' lol.

Hay bro I understand where you are comming from I also live in the EST timezone and at times have very long help wait times. But that being said when staff is on they are always very helpfull. As for your vote for Blaze I bet if there is a book in TC asking for staff they will consider your post.

Normally I would avoid this sort of thing. I think with a staff position you shouldn't be nominating a person. They may not be interested. I suppose council perhaps as I understand it I would. Instead I will say this.

I don't know Blaze. I have not had conversation with him. I think the only time he's commented to me was in reply to when I joking said to a player wanting to increase healing skill was "you can come jump off my roof then heal and repeat" was "you would come up with something like that". Still I've heard of you and seen you posting both in the game and here. I don't recall any time you were rude to anyone or insulted them. I've read you several times take time to help a player with for example a script. I see you also post some scripts in here. I would not feel confident either way on commenting on a staff position and avoid singling a person out. As this has been done in the latter case I will add my own. Also given your name it was quite nice of you not to make fun of my allergy to said plant or comment when I mentioned to someone how I used to work for the Sheriff's Dept. Really though, when someone is nice, helpful and considerate they sooner or later should get some complements for it. Really sooner and often would be better. You do really deserve some kind words for your actions.

What *would* be neat is, if there was a monthly "MVP" award.

Set up a box where players write thier own name and thier nomination name in a book. You can only nominate 1 person each month. You could not nominate yourself.

End of the month, there could be a 1 week forum poll, with each nominee's name. People vote on MVP for each month.

You could not win 2 consecutive months. Prizes could be randomly awarded, no more than a 100 ED level prize?

Just a thought.
