Is there any chance of coming up with a way of putting your beehives in hibernation-maybe a scroll bought from the token vendor?

Why you ask?

Well if you have to go away for more than a day or two your hives will start to fall ill and die.

Why not just turn them backk into hive deeds?

Well you may have invested a lot of money and time in nurturing them to full health and if you are away for a week its a bit much to have to do that.

How would it possibly work?

Buy the scroll from the vendor stone, double click the scroll then select the hive to be put into hibernation-the hive will then neither continue to produce any resources but will not fall ill till the hive is activated again.

Just an idea?

Aye, have thought of something like this too.. it is the reason i do not have bees any more. i get called away about every other month, and thats the end of my bees.

Has anymore consideration been given to this suggestion? I see that it dates back to May, over 8 months ago, but I hope that despite this thread's dormancy, that staff would reconsider this suggestion?

I too would be eternally grateful for such an addition. I think it would be extremely beneficial to those who have real world obligations that could keep them from monitoring their hives daily.

I just lost all but a few of my hives, had to do as i stated above, run to deal with an emergency, by the time I got back home most of my hives were empty. i will spend the next few days forcing large quantities of liquids into them... you ever tried to hold down a bee and make it drink something?
