Mosh Time

I was sitting here (actually I was driving home) and wondering what songs I should add to my music library. What I really need is some more Metal in the playlist to outweigh (or at least balance it up a little) the massive Alternative and 'Hip-Hop' genres.
So what I'm asking is, what songs have you heard that just make you want to start a mosh pit? I mean you listen to this song and you can feel any pent-up rage in you start to release. Some songs that do this for me are No Life - Slipknot, Confrontation - Otep and When Worlds Collide - Powerman 5000.
Help me out here, I need more Slaying Songs!

not sure on what skade mentioned... but try some songs by Bad Religion or Rise Against... they have TONS of songs that will mix up your hip hop an alternative stuff...
ps. powerman 5000 is good stuff... or you can always throw System of a Down in there

Pelican and Red Sparowes sounded alright, but there just wasn't enough rage in them. Good for some moods but not the one I'm aiming for. ^^
I already have a bunch of Bad Religion and System songs, but I'm not sure why I have absolutely no Rise Against.. thanks for the tip, UT.
As for Supermoves.. that's just a little too trance-like for a mosh pit. Definitely downloading it for when I'm in the mood to turn off all the lights and bust out the glow-sticks.

not sure if it will be too light for your liking but I recommend Rob Zombie formally White Zombie. There are a few songs that arent quite hard core but get the blood flowing nicely. I would go with more songs like superbeast then i would dragula or ballad of ressurection joe though that one may play a good part in UO with amounts of rezzing taking place

if that seems to light I would be going back a few years but Cannibal Corpse for really heavy hard to understand stuff and I am also in agreeance with SlipKnot and system of a down. Also Rage against the machine is good as well. Hope it helps. If you need the music i can send it to you.

Not real hardcore but Saliva's I Walk Alone, Survival of the Sickest, Your Disease... a lot of Saliva songs but maybe some will be a lil' too mellow for ya. Ummm... Metallica, AC/DC & Led Zeppelin of course but I'm sure you've got all that.

Judas Priest, Pantera, Alice In Chains, Mudvayne, Slayer, & Obituary

Have you heard 'Dig' from Mudvayne?
You want some good metal, listen to Unearth, As I Lay Dieing, and one of my favorites Killswitch Engage.
Also here are some mixed artists who have some songs I like to bump:
Obie Trice; David Banner; Mike Jones; Immortal Technique; Korn; Eminem; System of a Down; Paul Wall; Pink Floyd; Mobb Deep; Devin the Dude; Rammstien; Nobuo Uematsu; Deftones; Lil Jon; Metallica... I can't think of any more right now, but there are more I casually bump. Hope this list helps you. Start with Dig to release some frustration. (

) DIG!! NO REMAINS! EVERYTHING THAT I LOOOOOVEE, SLOWLY CHANGING!
