we've finally made organics possible to get.
They can be found on evil biogeneticists, and on abominations.

The evil biogeneticists hang out in a place that has the right technology for their activity... and i've heard there is also an abomination to be found, somewhere in felucca.
These are low spawns... daily or even less frequent. But ofcourse, you need to have learned bioengieering if you want to do anything with organics. Well, you can also sell them. Bioengineering books, or biobooks, are currently possible to get as BOD rewards, might be as donation too.

There's a tutorial for more information beeing written (well, copy-pasted ), to be completed in 2038.

will the required items drop as loot or will you need the tool/book to get the bits required?

they drop as loot, anyone can have organics. but you can only craft things from them if you have learned bioengineering, and have a biotool (bod reward).
