Doom Golden Skull issue

A couple of days ago I collected 1k Daemon bones, gave them to Victoria in Doom and she summoned the Bone Daemon. After killing him I acquired no skull (in my bag or on him and I checked the corpse first, without [claiming). A Gm had to assist me to get a skull. Now I cannot redo the quest. Victoria says she already has the bones and I should wait for another time (AKA go kill the Bone Daemon..) Is this fixable on my end?
