Two acct on same ip?

I recently started an account on this shard and was wanting to start an account for my brother who is overseas. He should be coming home in mid January and I wanted to get the account started with the basic combat/magic skills and some taming. Figured it would be a nice gift for him to have an account somewhat ready to play so he would not have to grind like crazy.
The problem I am running into is that when I put a random new account info in and try to connect I get the "you are having problems with connecting to the server please restart". I tried on two computers with all kinds of different log on info in case it matched someone elses login name. I can still log on my account but it will not let me use anything to start a new one.
Does anyone have any info on why I can not start another account? I read you would be able to with multiple people in house. Am confused why it is only letting me use my own info to get on.

Type [account ingame and request another account, +colbri has to set it up i think

might i suggest starting only 1 account (your brothers) until he gets home, and then start your account. so your not breaking the multiple account per player rule.

either way its breaking the rules, but good luck trying. never know until ya ask em tho.

the only 2 reason why people break the rules is: by ignorance and or corruption. I dont want someone with good intention get into trouble by ignorance. i mean that would be cool (vet here) to have that for a gift when i got home. multiple accounts to an ip is illegal without first talking with Colibri. I know plenty of peeps with multiple accounts/ips if he makes his brother's account first and really work at it, he then could give his gift, and start his own account.

Yes that would be against the rules. When your brother comes back, you can create an account for him using [account and show him how to play, but he needs to do the playing and skilling up by himself.

One person can only have one account, and an account may only be used by it's owner.
