Like so many of you out there I'm sure if you've spent any time at all hunting in Tokuno, you've amased a rather nice collection of Pigments of Tokuno. And let's not all forget just how many times we've turned in 10 Minor Treasure of Tokuno, and walk away with yet another bottle of dye.
Now all and all the dye is great, cause you can use it to dye alots of things you normally couldn't. I was wondering if we could add one other minor feature to these dyes and give the market for them a boost.
Suggestion: Allow the dyes to work on Tools.
Now I know this is basiclly only a temporary feature, since if you add that tool at any time to your tool house it will lose the color when it come out. BUT what it COULD do would be a great feature for Vendorholics such as myself.
For example, I often sell 1000 use tools on my vendor. But every now and then I'll toss on a 5000 use, or 10000 use. If the Pigments worked on tools, I could make each different stack a different color to make them stand out more.
Only other way I can see being able to accomplish the same effect with the system as is would be to use a Uni Dye Tub. And since the effect if potentially short term, using a Uni Dye Tub would inflat the cost beyond worth.

That's a pretty neat idea. I'd like to see the pigments able to dye any clothing (shoes, hats, robes especially) as well as magical armor/metal armor. Kinda hard to match an entire outfit without dumping money on uni tubs, at least for us folks who have not yet amassed huge fortunes :p

I agree with Ironbender, would give something extra to them, but as far as making them dye extra bits I think would be a bit much, uni tubs are already in place for those kind of things, plus there a nice accent colour, they already dye quiet a lot.

Would be awesome if some of the Tokyo dyes were some of the cooler hues that can only be obtained from uni dye tubs. These could be really rare but cool for younger players to work for too
