there are a few possible things:
- make sure that Encryption is OFF for the client with which you are connecting
- do you already have an account here? if there already exists an account with your IP on the record, you cannot add new ones.

if that doesnt work, post your client version (AOS, SE, ML?) and which program you are connecting thru - razor or uogateway , or none?

good luck

Everything about the Encryption is Off. . .I've never had an account here. . .and im using both Razor and UOG. As for Client version its ML.

ok, open your Start menu, point to Run and paste the below code in. Then click OK. uogateway should add a fresh server with probably correct settings.

uog://CUSTOM|D9A609EEFE394C30964830F0E0F90F02|UO+Excelsior+Shard|shard.uoexcelsior.com|shard.uoexcelsior.com|2593|0||http://patch.uoexcelsior.com/patch-a-uog.rar||||||

or, try to do:
1. click start, click Run
2. enter "cmd" and click "ok"
3. in the command prompt, type:
ping shard.uoexcelsior.com
4. if you get "response timed out" there's problem right here...

have you played UO before? on other shards thru UOgateway?

I did once, but not through UOG, as for Start>Run>cmd>ping shard.uoexcelsior.com "Request Timed Out"

hmm, theoretically it's possible that the shard was offline just as you did the ping. can you try again? make sure it's:

shard.uoexcelsior.com

or

194.249.53.33

if it still says "request timed out", that means the server is unaccessible to you, so you need to call your ISP and give them the above IP address (194.249.53.33) and ask them if they have blocked any international traffic (sometimes providers block trafic to certain countries if there are many ddos attacks from them, usually asian countries tho)

check your PM box, it's best if we talk thru MSN and try to find out while i can monitor incoming connections.
