What does it take to kill an onyx dragon? Is the loot worth it?

depends on what you consider "worth it".

well,

I am thinking since I have tried several times to kill one myself and have not been successful, that I would need to get a few friends to help me with the task. so, does enough gold and items drop to make a decent kill for 1-4 people with each getting say 500gp and some random other items if loot was split up evenly?

gorget with mana increase 2, normal <5 resist.

dull copper scythe
hit energy 12%
bracelet eval +2, fcr2 sdi 2%, physical resist 3%
two handed axe
ssi 15% hit despel 26%

oops forgot the leather type but i claimed it.

i just realized hehehehe that took me 6 mins.
