We're electing a new mayor

If you would like to run for mayor, you need to send me a private message over the forum, stating your name, and also names of two other players that support you.
You must do that by Sunday, May 6th 2007, 23:59:59 shard time.

Addition to the rules (actually a rephrasal):
1. Current mayor may not be nominated this month.
2. If there are no candidates, the current mayor keeps the position for another month.
3. If there is only one candidate, he/she automatically (without any voting), gets the position.

Mayor's position is a very easy task, it's mostly just beeing recognized, with a nice title and Lord British's castle But you are welcome to be active, organize player-ran events, or whatever you think would make Excelsior a better place.
I hope there will be at least two candidates.

There weren't any candidates, so nothing was changed. But we're having another election now...

You have till sunday, 24th of June, 23:59:59 shard time, to apply as a candidate.
The polling will be done in the week from 25th of June till the sunday, 1st of July.

We have one applicant, KatiJay.

And since it is the only application, there's no need for a vote, therefor KatiJay is now the new mayor!
