Thanks for the recent events

Post by Yoda »

Loved the haunted house event on saturday, was funny to listen to my wife (Pheobe) get all riled up when getting killed and super pumped when doing the killing, was a great night in for the 2 of us... didn't win but had tonnes of fun..

Last night we were both on the same team for Onslaught and it was a total blast, and she was yelling her face off even more, adorable and fun..

so thank you staff, for having these events semi regularly recently, they all don't have to be super hard to code new ideas (don't get me wrong those are cool) you can recycle old event content and do regular Onslaught, etc it is just as fun, keep them coming and we appreciate your hard work..

cheaper and better than a movie night imo

Ditto! It was very fun indeed! Thanks to the staff for unselfishly dedicate some time of their busy RL to make events for us the players. It's always around this time forward that there are lots of events.... looking forward for the Xmas time events. Like Yoda said, these events can be recycle and they still provide lots of fun! Priceless!

BTW, it would be cool if you guys unleash a Krono type of mob but dress like a Turkey for thanksgiving day ehhehehe.. just saying :goodsuprise:

Thanks for the textual fist-bumps :)

We are trying to maintain a 1-event-a-week pace, which means generally there will be repeat events (onslaught, hunger games, thunderdome, storytime, miscellaneous monster bash, etc etc), and then perhaps one complex-and-a-planning-nightmare-and-also-a-ridiculously-huge-time-sink event every month or six weeks. These themed events take soooo much time to put together, but are generally the most well received. Themed event ideas we're tossing around are Dr. Who, a re-styled Harry Potter, Christmas, etc. We are also aiming for an event that will directly involve the staff members, whether it be a staff-vs-players event, or staff-vs-staff, or perhaps even staff-and-some-players vs other-staff-and-some-players. Lots of ideas, so little time! :displeased:

I have mentioned a couple times already, but in the next few weeks there will be some big RL things going on for V and myself (independent of the holidays which of course will also be a time sink) so I am not entirely sure we will be able to hold 100% to the 1 event a week pace, but we're going to try. Encouragement and support like this certainly help keep our motivation up some :)

Don't forget to add our events calendar to your own calendar program/app, or bookmark it. I keep it updated in a rather OCD fashion :)

this is what i call: DEDICATION

i just don't know how you manage to do that and have a personal life. i mean work, house maintenance etc...

thank you staff for everything you have done for us. it's a selfless act of kindness you all do in our honor.

Granted I rarely see these events due to time conflictions, its great to see they are in fact happening. :)
