Kudos to +V for his Hunting Event

Post by Cygnus »

I just want to personally thank you for another great hunting event that seems to get better each time you put one on. Even though I may not win, place or show in this one (though I will be entering a pretty stout trophy head), I found myself benefiting from the experience in numerous ways. First and foremost, it provided that much needed spark to break up the routine that we sometimes fall into; secondly, having it centered in its own facet and populated with a hodgepodge of other baddies made the hunts less tedious, as you could wrack up gold and such while searching for the bears; thirdly, in a little over a week of doing this, I wracked up over a million gold, thousands of tokens and 10 levels on my weapon, taking it from 81 to 91. I could have never done that on the previous hunts. It was good to see the Hydra, Minotaur and Slayer hanging about while I ran around. The Treasure Chests were a bit frustrating as you could accumulate plenty of keys and go days without seeing a single chest. So far for me, it was 3 days zero chests, 7 in two days, and now back to 3 more days of nothing to show. But, having problems finding chest in no way detracts from the excellent job done here. Can't wait for the next one. Maybe hold a hunt where you turn in a stag, boar and bear? Total combined weight takes the grand prize and individual prizes for the biggest in each category. Just a thought. Rock on +V! :dance

It is better to lead from behind and to put others in front, especially when you celebrate victory when nice things occur. You take the front line when there is danger. Then people will appreciate your leadership.
