Split up stacks of runic tools

Used to be able to drop stuff into [exex and withdraw to create stacks but now items that can't be sold on [exex fall under a different category that can only be withdrawn as a whole. Could we get the [exex function back, or a new method of splitting stacks please? Thanks.

+1 -- Would like to see this for Normal tools that are not traded on [exex and runic tools alike, i.e. brushes for taming crafts and inscription pens. Can combine in a tool/runic house, but cannot split apart again.
I didn't realize that this was once possible - just approaching my 2-year mark. Not exactly a high priority, I realize, but definately desirable.
