My stairs not showing up on my 3 story house after placing them. Any thoughts?

i had that problem as well, I was told that some of them just don't work, like the crystal looking stairs and a couple more of the cooler looking ones don't work.

Try restarting your client. Sometimes deleted items hang about in cache and prevent you placing in the same spot.
