I have breedable mid-level Beetles and Ridable Pack Llamas for sale starting at 500gp. Both can be ridden and both have packs to carry your loot. Buy yourself a several-week, hundred-thousand gold jump on your own breeding program.

That was fast. Beetles restocked with slightly more expensive and slightly better beetles.
