Hi All,

I have only been back about a month now.
One thing I am really noticing thats annoying is the amount of empty vendors. some of which havent sold items in 8-12 months and even some longer that havent been re-stocked (and have sold out)

Anyway to please implement a rule or script to start removing these vendors, they clog up and waste time.. and surely would help with clearing away server strain, even if only minor (theres alot of empty vendors) .. makes the shopping experience a better thing for us as consumer\customers :d

Hi mate

there is a way to remove ancient empty vendors. Page the staff and they will move it to the old vendors place in ex halls. Of course, for that to happen, the said vendor musn't have been restocked in many months (the one i paged for hadn't been in over a year), i figure at least 6 months and no oposition from the owner.

but theres about 20-30 I could list easily

Would love to get a clarifaction from a + .. cause then I can post in this topic all the vendors that need removing

Are you talking about ones at vendor malls? Because those ones world be for the vendor mall owner to cancel the vendor contact renewal. For the ones at zento and tc staff used to (maybe still do) clean out every once in awhile.

few problems here

1. Vendor owner may not play any more
2. Not often enough, I see empty vendors or vendors who havent sold anything in months (due to no stock) or 1,000,000 gp in tc and Maketo

Im not saying this should be staffs responsibility.. but its a bit disheartning running around to empty vendors all the time (especially ones that havent sold in a long time.

I'm not sure if there was a miscommunication. I agree with you that empty vendors are a problem. I was just saying that staff can't do anything about private vendor malls, that's up the vendor mall owner. Staff have, and probably still do monitor Zento and TC.

Melkor is correct, we don't manage/maintain/fiddle with vendors in a vendor mall. However if you see vendors in TC/MZ that haven't been restocked in longer than, say, 3 months - send a page (from the location) with the vendor name, I'll get around to moving them when I can. Coli used to do this regularly but he's been busy and I think he's forgotten
