OK, I have been told that armor on pets helps and told it doesn't. Also told stamina on pets is not a factor and that is it.. Can some one that knows for sure (hint staff) tell me one way or the other. I would hate to waste time and effort maxing out qualities on pets that makes no difference. )

Armor helps just with melee attacks, as for the stamina i think it helps but not sure how much.

Ok thanks. Better to be sure. I have been applying armor and am working up stamina. Can't really hurt.

the stamina helps in both your rate of attack (= stamina & weapon speed) and your defence chances (=stamina & parry/bushido & magical properties)


you will find that you fail to block attacks more if you get low on stamina, same goes for pets, because the combat system is fairly universal, however im not sure if it was scaled properly by the run-uo team to account for large-stat beasties. (like bred pets.)

Plus pets that use stamina for special attacks.

I'm not sure if Harabakc was talking about normal pets but Bio pets can have special attack/moves and they use stamina to do them.
