− | Before you use the script please take the time to read this wiki. You MUST follow the Set-Up or the script will not work.
| |
− | Gambit is a multi-function tool I wrote to avoid having rearm abilities/recast spells. The main purpose is to rearm abilities (Primary, Secondary, and Momentum Strike). It will also cast Chivalry spells (Consecrate Weapon, Divine Fury, and Enemy of One) as needed. Finally, it will also auto activate Counter Attack for you.
| |
| | | |
− | The script can be found on the [http://www.uoex.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=4660&start=0 Forums] under Development ->> Published Macros

− | =='''Functions'''==
| |
− | This script contains the same functions as [http://uoex.net/wiki/Setting_up_Rearmer Rearmer] with the addition of Chivalry spells. An explanation of each function can be found below.
| |
− | *'''Rearms Abilities''': Primary, Secondary, or Momentum Strike will be recast depending on which is chosen.
| |
− | *'''Rearms Counter Attack:''' Counter Attack will be recast whenever it is used or expires.
| |
− | *'''Auto-casts Divine Fury:''' Will cast Divine Fury when you go below 75% Stamina.
| |
− | *'''Auto-casts Consecrate Weapon:''' (disabled by default until you edit a line in the script)Will recast CW every 10 seconds.
| |
− | *'''Auto-casts Enemy of One:''' (disabled by default until you edit a line in the script) '''IN BETA MODE!''' Sets a target chosen by you to cast this on/recast when it wears off (only on the set target. If you choose skeletons, it will only recast on skeletons and only once it expires. This feature of only recasting your set target is what is in beta. The timer will stay in even if auto cast goes out.)
| |
− | *'''Pause/Play:''' Pausing will stop casting spells. This includes Counter Attack and all Chivalry spells (Consecrate Weapon, Divine Fury and Enemy of One.)
| |
− |
| |
− | =='''Set-Up:'''==
| |
− | '''1.)''' You MUST edit the script before you can start. Your ability hotkeys must be the same in the script as they are set in game. The defaults are F1, F2, and F3 for Primary, Secondary and Momentum Strike respectively. Either change your macros in game to use F1-F3 '''OR''' change the script to match your macros in game.
| |
− |
| |
− | '''2.)''' F4 and F5 are the default for Pause and Play (for casting spells). If you have macros set to F4/F5 you can leave them set as long as you don't mind the macro going off when you hit Pause/Play. If you do, change the script to whatever you want to use.
| |
− |
| |
− | *''Keys that can be used are A-Z, 0-9, F1-F12 and ESC, BACK, TAB, ENTER, PAUSE, CAPSLOCK, SPACE, PGDN, PGUP, END, HOME, LEFT, RIGHT, UP, DOWN, PRNSCR, INSERT, DELETE, NUMLOCK or SCROLLLOCK.''
| |
− |
| |
− | '''3.)''' You MUST have the icons for your Primary/Secondary abilities out (and Momentum Strike and Counter Attack if you use them.) You can drag the tiles out from the Purple Book on your Paperdoll and a Bushido spellbook.
| |
− |
| |
− | '''4.)''' Your abilities CANNOT be active when you start the script. This means Primary/Secondary and Momentum Strike.
| |
− |
| |
− | ==Tips:==
| |
− | Anything that you read concerning casting Chivalry spells assumes that you have edited the script to enable them. Consecrate Weapon/Divine Fury are enabled separately from Enemy of One.
| |
− | *'''If you switch weapons and your ability does not rearm:''' Use Toggle Equip with Razor to unequip/requip a weapon. This will usually fix the issue (if not, toggle again.) Using Toggle instead of Dress you can unequip/reequip a weapon in two motions. Dress Equip switches weapons back and forth (four motions) and may not rearm again anyway.
| |
− |
| |
− | *'''If your ability doesn't switch when you press the hotkey:''' Sometimes you will need to hold down the key for half a second, or tap it twice for it to work. This and the situation above are regrettably unavoidable but manageable.
| |
− |
| |
− | *'''If Enemy of One doesn't target properly:''' Manually recast Enemy of One and hit the target you want... Sorry. Still in beta, I will find a fix for this. Please report any bugs you notice to Devlin in game. Thank you.
| |
− |
| |
− | *'''Pausing:''' All spells are paused upon start. This includes Counter Attack and all Chivalry spells (Consecrate Weapon, Divine Fury, and Enemy of One.) Hitting the Play button will begin auto-smart casting Counter Attack, Consecrate Weapon, and Divine Fury again.
| |
− | **You can change if Counter Attack, Consecrate Weapon, and Divine Fury are paused at startup. Please see the [http://uoex.net/w/index.php?title=Setting_up_Gambit&action=submit#Start_up_Settings: Start-up Settings] to find out how.
| |
− | **Enemy of One will only start AFTER you have selected a target. To stop casting, use your Pause hotkey. To begin recasting Enemy of One you must use your Target hotkey and reselect your target again.
| |
− | **All spells use the same pause button.
| |
− |
| |
− | *'''Once you run the setup:''' You can tweak some settings to improve performance. See the section below. You can also move the ability icons around a bit, but not too far or it won't work.

− | =How to Edit the Script=
| |
− | ====Enable/Disable a Function:====
| |
− | To enable or disable a specific Function, open the script and Ctrl+F "Functions". Next to each line is a comment with what the line does.
| |
− | *'''To enable a line:''' remove the ";" at the beginning and the text will become colorful. A semi-colon ";" in front a line means it will not execute.
| |
− | *'''To disable a line:''' add a ";" at the start of the line. The text will become gray like the comments (if you do it properly.) You can also just delete the line if you wish, but this will make enabling it later a hassle.
| |
− | ====Start-up Settings:====
| |
− | All of the settings you can that you can edit are located at the top of the script. Most of the settings are self-explanatory when combined with the comments next to them.
| |
− | =====Defaults
| |
− | To edit these settings, Ctrl+F "Defaults" to find the lines.
| |
− | *'''Default Ability:''' Primary Ability is rearmed by default. You can change to Secondary or Momentum Strike. Change "Prim" to "Sec" or "MS".
| |
− | *'''Counter Attack:''' This is paused at the start. To have Counter Attack auto cast upon start-up. Change "CAOff" to "CA"
| |
− | *'''Consecrate Weapon:''' This is paused at the start. To have Consecrate Weapon auto cast upon start-up. Change "Hold" to "Play".
| |
− | ====Quick Start-Up:====
| |
− | You can remove the screen that pop-ups when you start the script. Ctrl+F "QuickStart" and remove the text between START/END. Now you will no longer have to hit Yes upon startup.

− | This function is in beta at the moment. If you find anything wrong, please [pm Devlin. To use this, you must first set up a hotkey, which will be used to target the monster you want to use Enemy of One(EOO) on. This is identical to the Set-Up. The default hotkey is F6. When the cursor appears, click on the monster and the script should cast EOO and attack it. It will then wait for a specific time (3 minute default) before recasting Enemy of One. The script is intended to recast EOO once it detects the monster you set earlier nearby.
