Uo Auto Map

Since UO Auto Map project has been ended, and no sourcecode for it given out, it has become somewhat difficult at times to access a workin copy of the program. Here is a little Tutorial On how to Get working copy working on this shard.

Installing

First you will need to download the zip file with the program inside of it. Get It Here

Once you have finished downloading the zip file, unzip it to an area where you want to store the program (Desktop is commonly used but I prefer to use my documents folder).

Run the uoam file and let it get whatever updates it can gather (I think it is only one it will get)

Important: This program may need to run in compatability mode to windows xp if you are running vista or windows 7 (right click client, select properties, Compatability tab, check mark compatability mode and select windows xp service pack 2 or 3, Hit apply and ok).

Also if you are running Razor with administrator priveledges, you might have to run uoam with them as well.

Black Auto Map

Once you have that completed you should have the automap opened and running. If you happen to have the map not showing the maps and is only showing black.

You must click on "Maps" on the toolbar and select the "Uo Client Data Files Location" This will bring up a menu that asks for the location of where the map files are located.

You will then need to manually enter the folder location for where those map files are (example: C:\Program Files\Ultima Online - Excelsior Shard\ ).

Once you have entered in the correct path to your map files select ok and you should now be able to view the maps

I have noticed at times when I turn UO Auto Map on at times that its not always Synched to my player. I have found clicking on map and selecting the facet I am currently in fixes that problem while I am playing at that time.

This was just a quick thrown together wiki to help anyone experiencing problems with installing their UO Auto Maps to work. I hope this has helped you, and I will be updating later on with some hands on screens to help make the process easier.
